Welcome to Dublin

Dublin is a large city located in the suburbs of Columbus, Ohio. The community is in central Ohio, northwest of downtown Columbus. Nestled along the banks of the Scioto River and in the heart of the state’s agricultural and manufacturing region, and is a significant center of commerce. It is also located near many of the Metro Parks, a great place to visit if you’re an adventure lover. The vibrant community is known for its great outdoors and has many state parks and forests to visit.

Dublin is home to various industries, including education, healthcare, and technology. The city’s wide variety of historic neighborhoods, modern business districts, and cultural offerings are both unique and delightful.

Local Lifestyle

Historically, Dublin has been an industrial town with many factories, including a steel mill and a leather tannery. Today, the primary industry in Dublin is healthcare, with several hospitals and health clinics. Over the years, Dublin has evolved into a destination for visitors, locals, and athletes. The city boasts many award-winning restaurants and bars and is a peaceful and upscale place to live.

The downtown area of Dublin encompasses the BridgePark development along the river and is excellent for shopping, dining, and drinking, and the city also boasts several beautiful parks and is close to several major attractions. The friendly and welcoming town of Dublin is a great place to call home.

Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

As one of the fastest-growing communities in Columbus, Dublin has seen a myriad of changes over the years. Shopping, dining, and entertainment continue to evolve, with new retail options, new restaurants, and new ways to experience the active community. Tucci’s is located in historic Dublin and offers an intimate and friendly dining experience. The restaurant serves the finest, freshest local ingredients on a diverse menu and has an extensive wine list. 

Dublin Village Tavern is a famous tavern in the historical area that serves an Irish-inspired menu, including Irish imports on tap and mixed drinks. North High Brewing Company is a Short North business with a warehouse that supplies the beer. The restaurant hosts events and serves upscale bar food and American cuisine. Bridge Park is a thriving area in Dublin with many events, shops, eateries, and an active nightlife. The area has upscale shops like J. Hilburn and Kilwins.

Things to Do

The Dublin Irish Festival is an annual event celebrating Irish heritage with more than 100,000 attendees, seven stages, and hundreds of performers. The three-day celebration also features vendors, cultural events, Celtic sports, and kid’s activities. The Memorial Golf PGA Tournament is a yearly event held in Dublin at the Muirfield Village Golf Club to honor distinguished golfers and showcase talented athletes. 

Bridge Park Farmer’s Market is sponsored by the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center every Saturday from May to September. The market has fresh produce and local vendors. Indian Run Falls Park is a unique area with a beautiful waterfall and stream. The park also features hiking trails, a bridge, and picnic shelters.    

Schools

Dublin City Schools has been named one of the best school districts in the nation and the state. The district is the ninth-largest in the state, with 23 schools and more than 17,000 K-12 students. It serves students in Dublin and surrounding areas, including Hilliard, Upper Arlington, and Columbus.
