What you may not have clocked is how much the last ninety days changed the block. Two restaurants opened along Longshore Street. The city's outdoor movie series quietly turned into an Ohio-only film program. And a stretch of concrete that was, until recently, a walk-through between the pedestrian bridge and the parking garages now functions as the anchor for a proper Wednesday-through-Sunday routine.
This post is for people who already live here. The premise is simple: Riverside Crossing Park has stopped being a passive lawn. It's become the front porch for a small cluster of new businesses on Longshore and Bridge Park Avenue, and the pre-show routine has shifted with them.
What actually changed on Longshore this spring
The former Kona Craft Kitchen space at 6757 Longshore has been dark for a while. As of May 2, 2026, it isn't anymore. HangOverEasy opened at Bridge Park in Dublin at 6757 Longshore St., formerly Kona Craft Kitchen. It is the third Central Ohio HangOverEasy and seventh in the state.
The scale of the buildout matters more than the concept. The Bridge Park location is the restaurant's biggest, at approximately 5,500 square feet. The space seats 116 people and includes a full-service bar and outdoor patio seating. A coffee bar serving drip and specialty coffee drinks is available, along with house-made pastries and cafe fare. Hours run Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Read that closing time again. The restaurant shuts at 3 p.m. That's a real signal about how the block wants to function: mornings and midday belong to HangOverEasy's coffee bar and brunch traffic, and the evening handoff goes to the next arrival.
That next arrival opened in June. Bristol Republic, the Columbus staple known for its Southern-inspired menu, live music, and Nashville atmosphere, opened its new home in Dublin at Bridge Park in June 2026. It introduces two distinct concepts under one roof, Bristol Republic and a new elevated cocktail lounge called The Saddle Club. The address is 4495 Bridge Park Avenue, a multi-level space designed to blend dining, live music, and nightlife. Bridge Park's own communications frame it as "Bridge Park's first live music destination" — a claim worth testing over the fall, but a genuine change in what the neighborhood offers after 9 p.m.
The Wednesday rhythm, dated
The free concert series in Riverside Crossing Park is the thing residents most reliably plan around. Free live music runs in Riverside Crossing Park on Wednesday evenings, with each show from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., starting June 10 through Aug. 19. Guests are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs.

Two useful details most calendars leave out. First, the July 1 concert was canceled due to extreme heat, so if you check an older printed flyer you'll see a date that never happened. Second, the park sits inside Dublin's DORA district, which changes the pre-show routine in a specific way: you can order a drink at Market Bar inside North Market Bridge Park or at any DORA-participating spot and walk it out to the lawn. That is the single biggest reason to arrive early rather than at 6.
Cinema Saturdays is quietly an Ohio film festival
If you looked at the outdoor movie lineup last year and didn't look again, you missed a real change. In partnership with America 250-Ohio's Celebration, Cinema Saturdays shifted its focus in 2026, highlighting movies exclusively made in Ohio or with an Ohio connection as part of the State's Ohio Goes to the Movies program.

- Aug. 29 — Finding Dory at 6 p.m., followed by Draft Day
- Sept. 26 — Zootopia 2 at 6 p.m., followed by Superman 2025
- Oct. 31 — Coco at 6 p.m., followed by Wicked: For Good
Movies fall on the last Saturday of the month, with the earlier show rated G/PG followed by a movie for older teens and adults rated up to PG-13. The pairings are more thoughtful than a random double feature. Draft Day is a Cleveland Browns movie shot in Cleveland. Superman 2025 was filmed partly in Cleveland. If you've been trying to give your teenager a reason to leave the house on a Saturday night this fall, "we're going to see a movie made in Ohio, on a lawn, downtown" is a better pitch than "outdoor movie night."
The rest of the week worth knowing
The Wednesday concert gets the attention. The connective tissue around it is what turns Bridge Park into a walkable habit rather than a monthly outing.
- Wednesday lunch, Coffman Park. The City of Dublin hosts food trucks in Coffman Park, changing weekly from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesdays for lunch. Pair it with a walk on the shared-use path if you want to make an afternoon of it.
- Tuesday and Thursday, 6 p.m., free fitness. Free outdoor fitness classes led by certified instructors focus on yoga or stretch-based, low-impact workouts on Tuesdays and higher-intensity cardio on Thursdays sponsored by Orangetheory Fitness. Classes take place at 6 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday starting June 9.
- Saturday morning, Dublin Market. Every Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon from May through September, local farmers, artisans, and craftsmen sell produce, handmade goods, clothing, food, and gifts. The event happens rain or shine with free parking in any of the Bridge Park garages.
- North Market Night Markets. North Market Bridge Park's themed Night Markets run 6 to 9 p.m. and feature 50-plus independent makers offering handmade and locally grown products for sale, live music, and DORA beverages from Market Bar. The Island Night iteration is the current theme, tropical drinks and steel drums included.
- Sunday brunch, then rooftop. HangOverEasy for coffee and eggs, then Bubbles & Beats, a monthly Sunday ritual at VASO Rooftop Lounge. The rooftop is one of the least-discussed pieces of Bridge Park's summer, largely because it's easy to walk past.
- A note for fall. The 2026 Harvest Market at Bridge Park is a fall-themed market brought by The Dublin Market, featuring goodies from farmers, artisans, bakers, and craftsmen, live music, train rides, and free parking. Worth putting on the calendar if you have kids.
A short plan for the next few weekends
If you want a single Bridge Park routine worth defending, here is what actually works this August:
- Wednesday, 5:30 p.m. Park in the Longshore garage. Walk through North Market and grab something from a stall. Pick up a DORA cup at Market Bar. Cross to the lawn by 5:55.
- Thursday, 6 p.m. The free cardio class on the plaza. Then dinner at the new HangOverEasy — it's open until 3 p.m., so this actually only works if you're doing a very early dinner or catching an early workout and eating elsewhere. Bristol Republic is the honest weeknight dinner option now.
- Saturday, 8:45 a.m. Dublin Market. Coffee from HangOverEasy's grab-and-go counter, which is a pop-up tent serving customers during the market in addition to the main café. Walk the Dublin Link and loop back through Kiwanis Riverway.
- Last Saturday of the month. Dinner in Historic Dublin, then Cinema Saturdays at 6 p.m. Bring a blanket. If it's Aug. 29, stay for Draft Day.
- A Sunday you want to make an event. The Saddle Club upstairs at Bristol. Live music is the point.
The larger claim in all of this: for the first time in a few summers, Bridge Park has enough weekday programming that you don't need to save it for special occasions. The concerts anchor Wednesdays. The new restaurants anchor evenings. The Ohio film program anchors the last Saturday of the month through Halloween.
